Quarterly Update from Pastor Filipe

Echo Family,

We are now a little over 6 months into our 2-year One Life Initiative in which we asked our whole Echo family to together stretch our faith as we raise $25 million. It has been inspiring to see God transform people’s hearts and livesthrough your faithful generosity!

Part of the reason God uses our giving to change lives is that generosity requires true trust in Him - which is the most frequent command given by God to His people throughout the Bible.

It’s one thing to say we trust in God, but another to live like we trust in God. And that is where the transforming power of generosity comes in. Generosity proves and grows our faith in God, which leads to strengthening our life-transforming relationship with Him.

Generosity is not something God wants from us. It’s something God wants for us.

I am so grateful for you, and deeply proud of you. Keep leaning in and living out your trust in God, so that He can use your One Life for the things that matter most.

So grateful for you,

Filipe Santos

Acting Lead Pastor

THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY, IN JUST THE PAST 3 MONTHS...

FOR THE CHURCH

We had the largest gathering in Echo’s history this Easter - with 5,000+ people celebrating with us, 81 people getting baptized, and nearly 400 people deciding to follow Jesus for the first time!

FOR THE ONE

85 people encountered the Holy Spirit at our biggest Alpha Weekend Away to date! 8,000+ people experienced Jesus’ joy and hope through our HUNTs. 6,000+ Ukrainians were evacuated out of danger and war zones. In Myanmar, 400+ people heard the gospel (with over half deciding to follow Jesus), and 200+ war refugee families received food. In Bali, a long-awaited water reservoir has led to open doors to share about Jesus with local villages.

FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

190+ students heard the gospel through a 2-day outreach at Wilcox High School, 25 students experienced the Holy Spirit at Alpha Students Retreat with 3 of them deciding to follow Jesus!

FOR THE FUTURE

Your generosity has set the table for hundreds of people every week to encounter and worship Jesus through improved production equipment at our Sunnyvale campus, as well as the beginning stages of launching our Compassion Center.
